My sims4 game won't start.

Everytime I try to play Sims 4 it comes up with a black screen and a little window that says 

Unable to start:

Initialization error at start up.

[135dec40:984c6a38:00000077:00000000]

Anyone know what this could mean? It only started happening after the game updated two days ago.

I use to get that message as well. What worked for me was reinstalling the game. You can save the 'save' folder from your

/Users/[played username]/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4. Hope it helps.
