My origin wont go online

my desktop origin wont go on online mode and over half my sims 3 games are missing how can i fix it

been having the same problem, getting online currently unavailable and now getting you must be logged in for the first time.

Same for me." Need to update" and then "you must be online for your first login". It's not my first time.

every time i open origin it says offline mode then when i tried to go online nothing happens i keep clicking the button  to go online but nothing happens it said it needed an update 3 months ago and i updated it but nothing and i wont let me report the problem i even reinstalled the program and nothing i have been trying too fix this problem for months and can get it fixed

This is what worked for me.  I uninstalled Origin if you do the Origin folder should still be in place.

Rename the Origin folder. Origin2 would work.

Install Origin on the same hard drive that the renamed folder is on.

Log into the new Origin, it should now go online. Don't let it start downloading your games.

Rename the new Origin folder, Origin1.

Rename the old Origin folder back to Origin.

Hopefully everything should work..
