My Origin and Sims 4 wont open no matter what

[ Edited ]

I have tried so many things from other posts and their answers, but it wont work. I thought it was my custom content but i deleted them all and it still wont work. My origin did just update but I don't know what to do, I keep clicking them both but absolutely nothing comes up so I would be waiting for quite sometime. This is not the first time this has happened.

Hi @SaffiemaliSimmer

Ensure that your Firewall and/or Antivirus are not blocking the connection.The easiest way would be adding an exception for the Origin Client.
You need to do this add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports http://help.ea.com/en/article/connection-issues-with-origin/#1

Make sure your internet connection is not running through a proxy.Go to Internet Options in Control Panel > check the Connections tab and make sure the proxy server is not checked. Check the internet settings again after giving restart the PC.

Clear Origin cache and for this you get a perfectly detailed post from @EA_Nils >>http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/my-origin-will-not-update-my-sims-4/m-p/4721983#M163410

Restart your machine .

You need to perform a Clean Boot: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Spoiler
you need to press the key combination: “Windows Key + R”;
In the “Run” window, type the message “msconfig” without quotes;
-you need to left click on the “OK” button;
Select “General” tab, from the toolbar and chose the feature called “ Selective startup”;
-uncheck the box found in the left of the message: “ Load startup items”;
Select “Service” tab, from the toolbar;
-check the box in the left of message: “Hide all Microsoft services”;
Left click on the “Disable all” button, found on the lower-right side of the window;
Left click on the “OK” button;
-a new message box will prompt on your display. Left click on the “Restart” button in order to restart your operating system.

NOTE save any open files and close all programs before restarting your computer.

 Go in Origin / My Games tab-right click on game icon Sims 4 select Repair Game and then Check for Updates,and now start the game.
