Mouse Back Button as Push-to-talk

I'm unable to set either mouse 4 or 5 (Back or Forward) for push-to-talk within the Origin client. Why is this?

With the push to talk keyboard shortcut box to the right highlighted, pressing mouse 4 or 5 does not populate into that box? Can you select mouse 1,2 or 3? It is possible mouse 4 or 5 are not select-able, I don't have those mouse buttons so cannot check for you directly.

You're spot on, I can select mouse 1, 2 or 3, just not 4 or 5!

Pretty much every voice system I use I have the back button bound to push-to-talk.

Can this be looked at further?

What brand/model is your mouse? Some mice have drivers or software available to use where you can remap buttons to anything you'd like (like keyboard or macros), potentially with even custom profiles for each and every game you play. Have you investigated that as a potential solution?

What do your left and right mouse buttons register as if 4 and 5 are coming up as button 1?
