Mandatory Update Won't Let Me Go Online

Hi, I'm having an issue with Origin. When I open Origin, I am greeted by a message that says Origin encountered an issue loading the page. When I click the "Go Online" button, I get a message that says "Origin is now in offline mode. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we had to disconnect you because a mandatory update went live. Please exit your game and restart Origin to get the newest update and get back online." When I close Origin and open it again, the same thing happens. I am not able to go online when I am playing my game, please help!
