Major security issue with accounts.ea.com

★★★ Newbie

The TLS certificate for accounts.ea.com is no longer trusted by the major browsers. I had to add a temporary exception to my browser to log in to post this message. I get similar errors in Firefox (macOS), Chrome (Windows 10, macOS), and Safari (macOS); screenshots attached.

I believe this has to do with the distrust of Symantec certificates (see, e.g., https://knowledge.digicert.com/alerts/ALERT2562.html). This issue has been public for at least 18 months. It's incredibly sad that a massive company like EA can't be bothered to tackle a major security issue in that time frame.
