I am using a Mac and the Origin launcher will not verify my account files to start a download/update. The error says I have internet issues, but my internet is fine. I was able to still open the game and play but it doesn't even show the new content after Island Living under the play button. I have tried multiple reinstalls of Origin and I uninstalled the Sims 4 but I'm still having the problem but now I can't even reinstall Sims 4. I need help cause now I can't even play the game I spent a lot of money on. Please Help. Thanks.

@cell_interlinked The current version of Origin doesn't work in Yosemite (10.10.5), but you can install a legacy version instead. First though, do a clean uninstall to remove all traces of the current version of Origin from your computer. Here's how:

You can download the legacy version from here:
https://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download/legacy
When installing, be sure to uncheck the box to automatically keep Origin and your games up to date, or else Origin will update itself to the current, nonworking version.

@cell_interlinked What version of macOS do you have? If you're not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen and select About This Mac.
