Issues Downloading Sims 4 on Mac

Currently having issues downloading Sims 4 on Mac.

I have recently downloaded Origin and I have purchased the Sims 4. When I try to download the game, it prepares the download and it then shows zero percent. A window then pops up and states the my download has been paused and when another window appears, to click yes and start the download again. Another window has not appeared to restart the download and I have tried everything to find the download. I try to redownload through origin and it gives me the same message with no other window popping up. What it the best way to go about this?

If that doesn't help, do a clean uninstall of Origin:

restart your computer, and try again.  You can also try powercycling your router.

If that doesn't help either, do another clean uninstall of Origin and install it into a new user account on your Mac.  Make sure it's an admin account and that its username contains only letters and numbers, no special characters, accents, etc.  If Sims 4 installs into the user Applications account (Macintosh HD > Users > username > Applications), you can move it to the main Applications folder by dragging and dropping it.
