Installation Problems

I tried to open Origin this morning and it started downloading the latest version.  Came up with the message "Cannot find'C:\Program Files\Origin\LegacyPM\OriginLegacyCLI.exe'  Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again"  After I clicked OK on this message it came up with "We need your permission to install the latest version of Origin.  Please retry and select "Yes" when User Account Control dialog box appears.  I tried all this but still same thing keeps coming up.  Also origin seems to have uninstalled itself completely.  Any solutions would be appreciated.

First, disable your antivirus and firewall temporarily and then perform a clean boot before starting Origin:

If the issue continues at that point then manually uninstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

Reboot and then download the most recent installer from here: https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/download

Run the Origin installer and then retest again. Do let us know how you get on, thanks.

The User account control box does not appear and I am unable to download Origin. I am the administrator on my pc and I have tried all other options. WTF. help
