If i buy an expansion pack will i get the game aswell as i already own sims 4.

I have the sims 4 but i don't know what will happen if i click buy on an expansion pack as i do not want the game twice and i cannot find a tutorial without it being 'how to get stuff packs for FREEEEEE'. can you help so i know. i want to get/pre-order island living.

@Pinkdoughnuts11  If you're buying the pack on the account that already owns Sims 4, there's no reason you would need to buy the base game again.  In fact, Origin should block you from doing so.  Each pack is also sold separately, aside from a few clearly marked bundles.  So if you click on one pack, you're only getting that pack.

You can also double-check the total you're being charged before confirming the payment to make sure you're only buying the one pack.  The product page for Island Living should show you its price; it's currently listed at $40 U.S. for me.
