The new Origin experience is now in beta.

Don’t miss out, opt-in for Origin beta updates:

1. Log in to the Origin client
2. Click Origin in the menu bar.
3. Click Application Settings.
4. Click the General tab
5. Scroll down to find Origin Beta Participation.
6. Check the Update to the beta version box.

GET THINGS DONE

We’ve moved a few things around, but you can find what you're looking with these steps:

Redeem your code

1. Click Game Library.
2. Click + Add Game near the top of your screen.
3. Click Redeem Product Code.
4. Enter your code.

You’ll find your games in the game library.

Find your friends

In the client:

If you're in the Origin client, find your friends list on the right side of your screen.

Change your client settings

You can’t change your Origin client settings online, but you can in the client:

1. Click your username and icon in the bottom-left of your screen.
2. Click Application Settings.

Update your account

Your My Account page is the same, but getting there is a little different:

1. Click your username and icon in the bottom-left of your screen.
2. Click EA Account and Billing.

FIND WHAT'S NEW

We know this is a lot at once. But, there are a few new and improved features we think you should check out:

Your My Home page

Find friends, recommendations for games, articles and videos, deals, and more—all tailored specifically to you.

Updated UI

The Origin beta looks and feels the same across web, mobile, or in the client.

Access the store, your game library, and more, on any of your devices.

Origin In-Game, voice chat, and the ability to download and play your games are only available in the client. 

Improved functionality

We simplified finding players, games, and extra content on Origin.

Stay tuned for more

Group chat, customized box art, and the ability to import friends from PSN / Xbox Live are currently unavailable in the newest version of Origin. Stay tuned for updates regarding these features.

CHANGE IT BACK

If you want to keep using the Origin you know for now, you can revert to the non-beta version:

1. Uninstall the Origin beta.
2. Download and re-install Origin.
3. Opt-out of beta updates.
   1. Log in to the Origin client.
   2. Click Origin in the menu bar.
   3. Click Application Settings.
   4. Click the General tab.
   5. Scroll down to find Origin Beta Participation.
   6. Uncheck the Update to the beta version box.
