How long does it take to remove a persona after contacting support

I contacted support to get my old PSN account unlinked, and after a long and tedious conversation, they said they had done it for me.

However, it's still showing up in my account, and I cannot link my new PSN account to my EA account until the old PSN account is unlinked

How long should the deletion take?

It should be relatively quick, depending on what actions they had to take to remove it. Please reach out to EA Help again, which you can resume your current case to do, and they can look into if there's any hiccups that came up.
