How do link my Xbox gamertag to my Origin account?

I have no idea how to link my xbox account to my Origin account , i've seen many threads on this topic but none of the solutions listed in those worked for me , could someone explain to me how to do this?

I assume that my gamertag must already be connected to some account but i don't know what account that is since it's obviously not mine, if that is the case is it possible to transfer my gamertag to this account?
