How do I access bf3 on my old hard-drive

After building a new PC, and getting an SSD, I would like to know how to access bf3 on my old hard drive (I don't want to re-install)

I have tried going into settings and changing the PATH for downloaded games to the old hard-drive where bf3 is installed, but when I try to open it, it gives no option to play it still, and wants me to download it.

This problem did not occur with steam games, I added the path, and all games were registered. Also note to origin devs, you cannot have multiple install locations for games.
