Getting Download in Progres message after ME:A is fully installed

★★ Novice

When I run Mass Effect Andromeda, I get the standard download in progress message. I can click through it and the game plays fine (so far), but it is annoying.

During the installation of ME:A I did have a power outage at around 12%, and had to start again from scratch. I guess this is related to the issue.

What I've tried so far:

- When I try to update the game from within Origin, it says it is up to date

- I've cleared my cache

- The \ProgramData\Origin\DownloadCache folder is empty

Ideas?

Hey,

To confirm, you've cleared the entire Origin cache, including the files in your AppData folder?

If you did, then try running Origin as administrator and right-click Andromeda and select Repair Game.

Let me know if that helps!

Yeah that was the guide I followed for clearing the cache. But your tip for running as administrator worked. Thanks!

Great!

And when you have managed to try out the game, I would love to hear if you've been enjoying it.. Standard smile
