I play lots of Battlefield and Battlefront on Origin mostly every day with usually no problems at all. However, I have noticed recently (past month or 2) that every time I update any game - the updates were all above 2 GB - I cannot play them anymore. After an update, I click the Play button, it will minimize Origin and show my desktop, then after a few seconds it will open Origin again and show the game library. Basically, every time I update a game (focusing on Battlefield 1 and Battlefront 2 specifically), I cannot play it again after for some odd reason. It just crashes as soon as I click play, and doesn't even open a game window. Repairing the game won't work either, but what does work is uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Now, just because this works does not make me feel like I have solved the problem. I don't want to have to uninstall a +50 GB game that takes hours to download for me and reinstall it every time there's a simple update. Does anybody else have this problem? I'd like to be able to play a game right after it updates instead of having to uninstall it and wait 5 hours for it to reinstall. Is it something with Origin? Is it something with the game? Or is it my computer? Somebody please help. Thank you.

@MattyMatt360 Have you tried repairing the game after it finishes updating rather than a full reinstall?
If it happens after the next time you update can you try the following:
1. Clear your Origin Cache:

2. Clean boot your PC
