Hello I followed all the steps, I checked every forum just to find a solution. Nothing works. While updating Origin, the update stops when it's almost done. A message says: "Your update could not be completed" with a link (that is always broken when I click on it). So I'm stuck in a circle for the past week.
Your help is more than needed!
Thank you

The first step, checked in Origin/Application Settings/Advanced/Safe Mod Downloading-checked Enable Safe Mod Downloading and do not forget make sure you are the administrator, run the setup file Origin with Admin rights and restart Origin.
Solved your question ? ...please hit Accept As Solution on the post they did so others know it worked or have the curtsy to say " Thanks, but it didn't work "

i have reinstalled it many times, done all steps and all that guff and still see no end to this cycle of boredom. nothing has changed. still the same error, still the same stuff. only clue i have is that it probably has something to do with my windows being windows 7. that's all. and even that may not be the right answer. me being annoyed would be an understatement.

@AraAraDaze Hi,
Which error are you encountering exactly?
Can you list what have you tried so far, just so we can see what else we might be able to suggest to assist you.
Cheers,
