You're no better than the customer support bots they have on these forums. Literally everyone has tried that they wouldn't be here if that had worked.

Origin is complete garbage, constant updates ruins my mods and so many issues after their crappy updates, maybe once EA starts to listen to their customers they will change but they don’t care because they think they know it all, which steam is destroying them in sales.

go to your file explorer and select your local drice (cStandard smile (or whatever drive you previously installed origin on) and type origin in the searchbar. then find the program files one and the appdata file and delete them both. then try reinstalling origin. hope this helps!

Easy fix for me after a long time researching

Press Windows key and R

type in the bar
%ProgramData%/Origin

Delete EVERYTHING EXCEPT "Local Content" and "Self Update"

Retry install. Worked for me. I tried the crazy steps everyone else suggested.... NONE of them worked except this.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!

Hey @Rileyjo3, great to hear that you got it sorted. If you see the issue again you can try all the steps below to fully clear the Origin cache.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

  1. Completely log out and close down Origin
  2. Hold down the Windows key and R
  3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  4. Now open the Origin folder.
  5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
  6. Hold down the Windows key and R
  7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
  9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
  10. Open the Local folder here
  11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
  12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin

Let me know how you get on
