Error code when finalizing update

I'm starting to get frustrated with the update system threw origin. I have played Sims since it first came out and had NO issues until now. I keep getting the same error code when I update my game. This has happened about 4-5 times over the last 6 months. I start the update and it goes fine until it is time to finalize then I get an error and can not play my game. I really wish EA would never had put in the requirement of having Origin to play the games as it has done nothing but cause issues. How can I get the update to finish so I can play my game?

Were you able to finish the update? If not, what error message do you get?

The update will not finish on mine either, I'm not given the chance to update or repair Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, specifically these two games, Ive searched almost everything and I even deleted origin but it still won't work, please help!
