Email Totally In Russian Saying I Bought a Russian Game

★★ Newbie

I just received an email from Origin completely in Russian saying I bought Syberia II at a cost of 0 py6. To the best of my knowledge I haven't traveled to Russia and bought a game on Origin. I changed my password, but I'm still confused.

Hi, @vEnDeTtA_61616

Sybiria 2 is the current give away on origin. If you claimed the game recently, it's normal to receive an e-mail. The e-mail being in Russian could be an error on EA's account or caused by a VPN you used.

If you're not from Russia and you've received an email in Russian then you've most likely been hacked. I would encourage you to check out the following article and then reach out to an EA Advisor to have your account completely secured:

Hey Vanya, nice to see you here :eahigh_file:

Let's stick to English on this section though, even if you're trying to help.

Thanks!
