I have ran Origin as Admin. Tried to uninstall and re-install the client. Rebooted my pc a lot of times. My Sims 4 (Nov 13, 2018) update is shown as being queued and it is grayed out. I have no options to go beyond. The % is always on 0.

I managed to fix it on my own. Here's what I did (based on a different type of game client).
1) When in your Origin > Application Settings > Installs and Saves
2) Go to the "Legacy Game Installers" . Change Folder (BE SURE TO CHANGE IT INTO YOUR PC FIRST) I made one called C:\ORIGIN_DOWNLOADS.
3) Agree to the prompts.
4) Reboot Origin.
5) Downloads should start, if not, select it to begin.
This is working for me, despite the outdated information that I had found online.
