EA Account Activation Problems

★ Novice

So I leaned that Origin holds all 3 Mass Effect main trilogy games in one nice little bundle and Steam doesn't. Cool.

So I go and purchase said bundle, installs correctly and all and now I have the first game installed and ready to play on my computer.

"Sign in with your EA Account to activate this game on your computer"

Really... I bought the game, I'm already signed into my Origin client and it's all ready to go. I STILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS?!?!?

Whatever. I put in my E-mail and Password. Box goes away but nothing happens.

I try it 6 more times, same thing over and over. IT WON'T LET ME PLAY MY GAME I SPENT MONEY ON BECAUSE THIS ACTIVATION BOX WON'T WORK OR GO THROUGH

So I comb the Forums and find out I need to set the Client and games as Administrator (Which I set and Apply) and give exceptions. But I'm not given any clear way on how to allow exceptions. (I'm not a Computer Wizard, and I like to have some direction besides given some basic wordings and a pat on the back.)

Needless to say, my enthusiasm and enjoyment is crushed because I can't even play my game.

But I still REALLY want to play Mass Effect again, on the PC now. Please, how do I fix this? Thanks.

Besides logging onto Origin on the web, did you download origin to your pc and sign in with the same email and password you originally used? Once you download Origin to your pc and log in, click on the My Games tab. You should see your games there with an option to install them. If not, change it to all games, hidden games, etc. See these articles for help: 1. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/install-origin/ 2. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-do-i-download-my-new-game-on-origin/
