Dragon age Inquisition serial key problems

I know this question has been asked a million times, but unfortunately I must ask it again I yesterday I purchased dragon age inquisition, but I got home and tried to install it I got a message saying that the games code has already been used, which I found impossible seeing as I just bought the game. I have searched all over for help but get vague answers to my question, if possible I'd like to know how I might go about fixing this problem.

Retailers are not all equally honest, and all of them do have the vacuum sealing machines in their back rooms.  You're going to have to take it back to where you got it.
