You can also just rename the directory and tell it to download, then quit and rename the old dir back. That worked for me.

Didn't work for me unfortunately. The game did however come up with the repai r option which it didn't do before but this didn't work either.

You, my good sir and/or madam! You have fixed my game where the Bioware/EA helpline fumbled around like sad little mumbling idiots. After not being able to play my game since this patch came out I can now successfully play it. I could kiss you! :heart:

Here was what I did to solve this problem quickly based on pfaffle's post
+ Exit Origin.
+ Go to the folder that you installed DA:I in and CUT all files inside that folder and PASTE them into another folder in the SAME DRIVER( this step saved me time and disk space unlike copy/paste)
+ Turn on Origin, click on install DA:I then cancel it and exit Origin.
+ Cut the files back into the Dragon Age: Inquisition folder.
+ Turn on origin, right click DA:I in your library, choose check for update
+ Update and play the game!

it will install but then the install percentage goes to over 100% and wont stop installing and just takes up space on my computer. it was a 550mb update and its installed almost 700mb and i cant play unless i install update. can somebody help
