Do I realy need the Origin app to run Command & conquer

I am running  Command and Conquer 3 (tiberium wars) on a Low end Net book (Acer Switch 10) it only has 32 GB of memory.

The device uses an internal smd chip as both operational memory, and virtual Hard Drive.

Do I Truly need the Origin App after the download?

Do I need the Kane's world portion to run the Tiberium Wars portion?

What do I need to uninstall Kane's World

Also, What files Are redundant between the two portions? as both seem to have the same Core Files.

Note: The Game runs, I just need to clear up some extra file space.
