After installing Crysis 1, Origin informed me is was ready to play, but when i tried to launch it, it says "DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS" despite being 100% done. Every time i try to launch the game, it crashes. I've tried reinstalling the game 3 times, i've tried repairing the game, and check for updates, but nothing works.
- close Origin, then run it as Admin, uninstall Crysis game, go to Origin > Application Settings > Advanced > press "Delete all game installers", then go to downloaded game path and delete folder related to the Crysis game (if exist)
- run regedit and delete all keys related to Crysis, such as:
Also u can try use Origin in safe mode: go to Origin > Application Settings > Advanced > Safe Mode Downloading > Enable Safe Mode Downloading and restart Origin (run as Admin).
Have you tried to switch the download to Safe Mode and then restart Origin? Recently I had a similar problem with a different download and it worked. You can set your download to Safe Mode in advanced settings of Origin. Also, if that works, be prepared for having to download more than your current download bar shows.
