Changing file location and install location

I'm running windows 8. I was wondering if theres a way to change the file location for all current orgin intalls, and change the install location for all future installs

Yes there is, for existing installs see the guide written by inSmithereens here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/HOW-TO-Backup-restore-Origin-games/td-p/1926893

As for how you can actually change the desired installation folder for any future game installs:

1. Open the Origin Client
2. Click on Origin (top left corner) > Application Settings
3. Now select the Advanced tab
4. Under Downloaded Games you can now click the "Change..." button in order to find a new destination folder for any future installations for your Origin games.
