Can't launch or install Mirrors Edge Catalyst

I have just bought and downloaded Mirrors Edge Catalyst on Origin.

Whenever I try to launch the game within a second an error message box pops up on the screen reading

'We're sorry, an error has occured. We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate Mirrors Edge Catalyst on this computer using your account. Please try again later'.

I have try for the past 3 days but I get the same message. 

Is there any way around this? I used to get this message when trying to launch Fifa too. 

I just want to play the game I paid for, why do I have to deal with this nonsense?

Hey @Rainhandss the best thing to do when this occurs takes a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot
