I an have the same issue!! I have a brand new Asus laptop and I am trying to download origin and the file says failed when trying trying to download OriginThinSetup.exe
If you guys know its a problem why not update the download so your customer can download their games.

Been having the same issue all day!! Trying to download origin from the EA website, it will download for a bit then say "download failed" and ill hit "resume" and it will download a little more then fail again, then ill hit resume, go through this 4 or 5 times until the file is finally downloaded from website. It does this on Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.. Finally after i get the .exe file fully downloaded and launch it everything seems okay until i click "install" and immediately it says "error 20:2." Ive been trying all damn day, have even reset (reinstalled windows) twice (once keeping files, once full wipe deleting everything, have tried running program as administrator, have tried fully disabling all antivirus and firewall including windows defender. This is ridiculous, Ive spent all day trying to get Origin to work. Everything else works perfectly, including Steam and all Steam games, and every single other game and program without a single hiccup, its only Origin that is having these issues.
I'm on Windows 10 64 bit.

I've been experiencing the same issue all night trying to download Origin in order to play Sims 4. I just upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago. I read on another thread that it's something to do with Microsoft and their restrictions and in order to lift the restrictions you have to pay a fee? Idk.
