Can't choose my account name

Hi there

I've waited well over 72 hours and can't change my ID.

It still shows a message that ID contains prohibited word or character, and there aren't any prohibited words or characters in the new ID.

Any thoughts?

Same here. The EA gave me this stupid username and I'm now stuck with it for life

Edit: Now when I check, it says it changed it to Mint75, but here it still shows 5mwvncqkhuev.

I was able to pull up an account with the name "Mint75" and was not able to pull up an account with "5mwvncqkhuev," so try restarting your Origin client to see if it updates itself. It sounds like your name has updated but has not yet refreshed on the AHQ forum. Please wait 72 hours and try logging out of the forums and back in to see when it will be updated.

You post the same response with no actual help or just tell us your system is messed up and you all do not know how to fix it. Honesty would be better than generic responses..
