Can I buy Ubisoft DLC without having the base game on Origin?

Hello,

I noticed the Origin store has the AC Odyssey season pass on sale now for a great price. I don't have Odyssey on Origin, I do have Odyssey on Uplay. Since I'm sure it connects to uplay anyway, can I buy the season pass through Origin and unlock it and use it with my copy of the base game on Uplay?

No, you cannot. The DLC needs to be connected to the game in your Origin library. Origin, unlike steam, let's you buy some DLCs for games you don't currently own, but they remain inactive until you have the game for which it relates to registered in your Origin account. Though, for AC games it even won't let you buy DLCs without the main games.
