My game won't launch

★★★ Newbie

Hey guys

I recently downloaded Apex Legends on my PC and it won't launch. This error shows up every time:

CSOM_MilesAsync_OpenOrFindFile("audio\ship/general_english.mstr") failed to open file; try resyncing

How do I do that?

Repairing the game has usually done the trick for a lot of players, but since you've already tried that have you reinstalled the game yet? I know it's not ideal, but this could be due to a corrupted installation so fresh files may avoid this the next time it loads up. Did you originally install it to a custom path or default C: path on your drive?
