CANNOT DOWLOAD ORIGIN ON WINDOWS 10

Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice really. I bought Sims 4 to play on PC, however need to download Origin before using. My laptop is an ASUS Notebook that runs on Windows 10. 

I have tried lots of different things recommended by users on Google and previous threads detailed on this website, however, nothing seems to work. 

The Origin Client file will download, it just doesn't open. 

Instead, I am shown 2 separate error messages - Please see screenshots attached.

I would really appreciate if anybody knew how to solve this issue.

@chloe_maria08  The files mentioned are part of the 2015 VC++ runtimes.  It's best to uninstall your current copies, if you have any, and then download new ones from Microsoft.  Hit Windows key-i, select Apps, scroll down to Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable, click on both the x86 and x64 entries (if you have them), and select Uninstall.

You can download new copies here.  Be sure to install both the x86 and x64 versions.
