C&C3 Tiberium wars EA Activation to play. FIXED.

Not enough you have to use Origin to play this game, when you try to launch it, it forces you to Login to EA to activate it? Wait, what? Isn't EA and Origin the same thing?

Oh well, I try to login, but no. "Our servers are having issues right now, try again later"

I wait for 5 minutes, try again. No, tried like 10 times in an hour. Nothing.

How dare you even have this game in your Origin library when it doesn't work? You just scammed me for like 5-6$ when I bought this game today.

I had a bad feeling when I entered the Origin store, thinking "Damn, this is EA after all, it might just end up with my house burnt down"

Thanks a lot, EA. Last product I ever buy from you.

We would like to suggest you to please make a screen name by following steps and link the screen name to your EA account . The steps are :

1- Create an account in www.pogo.com
2- Login into www.profile.ea.com using the EA email id and password.
3- Scroll down the page, click on " Add Persona".
4- Select option " existing EA classic screen name". It will open a login window.
5- Login using pogo screen name and password.
6- Click on " Add Persona".
7- Now pogo screen name should appear under " Select a default persona" heading.
8- Double click on the pogo screen name.

After the screen name attach to your account . Please uninstall the game and re-install.

Takes around 5 minutes, stupid EA DRM protection.

The solution from Usehack user no longer work (if worked at all), but was useful to find a solution.

The steps are:

1- Create an account using EReg executable (Origin\Games\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Support)
2- Login into profile.ea.com using the EA email id and password.
3- Scroll down the page, click on "Add Persona".
4- Select option "Existing EA classic username". It will open a login window.
5- Login using the created username and password.
6- Click on "Add Persona".
7- Now the created username should appear under "Select a default persona" heading.
8- Double click on created username (not really necessary).
