All of my friends are gone.

Today, I logged in to Origin for the first time in two months to buy BF1 and found that my friend list was empty.

I had 20+ friends before, so it may be not the case that all of them had deleted me from their friend lists.

I tried re-logging several times, but that didn't work.

Can you retrieve my friends?

I've seen this happen before when a player has been hacked. Please reach out to an Advisor and they will verify your account security:

Feels like high school all over again - at least I got a cool job now! 

On a serious note: if your friends have also gone missing then I would recommend to also reach out to an Advisor.

Hey guys,

First time posting. I had this issue, 1/29/2017.
All my friends vanished. 
I have not been hacked, i only had 3 friends on my friends list, but they are gone. Its a big pain in the butt, I only own, Titan fall 2, Battlefield 1 and Mass effect. What the heck is going on?
I logged into my account on my brothers computer, friends were gone. Came back home to my home set up, and my friends were gone here too. 
Its been a problem for a while, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

I can confirm that you've been hacked as I can see logins on your account from all over the globe. I would recommend to reach out to an Advisor to have your account security status reset:

Once that is done, your friends shouldn't disappear anymore.

I'm 68 years old and all of my friends are dead. I don't like being reminded every time I open Origin. Is there a way to turn that off?

Can my account be checked as well? all my friends randomly vanished but the * i have set up is secure normally.
normal logins are from the middle of the netherlands.
