Accepting friend requests in origin?

How do you accept friend requests, A friend and I have been trying for 20 minutes, we found eachother which took forever because it wouldnt show him my profile, and now we cant find an accept friend request button.

Hey, were you able to get this sorted out?

I tested it now with a co-worker and it worked fine. Click Friends List in Origin and you should have a notification. Click the green check and you're good to go. 

Does a notification like this show up for you?

I got the friend request but I have no option to accept, I only have the red cross.

Seriously through Origin is so bad, This isn't even the First time I struggled trying to simply add friends. In fact, EVERYTIME I try to add someone I have the exact same problems as someone else did TWO WHOLE YEARS AGO !

How has something so basic still haven't been fixed yet ?!

no, this problem has been going on for YEARS and EA doesn't fix it like wth.

Hey @BrayDoesGamez1 I tested just there and had no issues so this is most likely a network issue.

Can you try using your phone as a hotspot and connect through it to see if it makes a difference?

July 2020 and still have the same issue.  Why is it so hard to fix this? So many people have been complaining about the same thing for years and still no solution.

you have to go to their profile by searching their email and at the top right you'll see an orange button that says accept friend request

july 2021 and this is still a problem, its just that origin sucks
