trouble running origins after install [ Edited ]

Error Message: "The game cannot launch because of misconfiguration.  Please reinstall your game and try again."

I reinstalled 4 times.  redownloaded from amazon twice(which takes a long time BTY).  Tried running as admin for setup and install.

Please advise!

Although I cannot seem to recall the details, I am quite certain you have a relatively common problem that is flagged by an inaccurate error message.  I don't believe it's the game's own install that is damaged, but some other required supporting software.  Run searches here, but this place is still fairly new and the archives are still minimal.  Instead, use Google or Yahoo with a redirector pointed back at the BSN forums to find links to threads on the old Tech Forum, now locked, on the Social Site.
