Serial number not working

Hi there!

I've recently bought the Dragon Age Origins game (PC Windows 7) and the 20-digit-code on the back of the booklet is invalid. Am I missing a step or is this a bug?

What are you trying to do with the serial number? Standard disc installation or registering the game to Origin?
