When logged on as an Administrator, just remove the "Read Only" flag (uncheck the box) on the folder's advanced properties.

If you can't remove the flag, you don't have Admin Privileges.

So I fixed my problem. I had installed DA:O via steam.

I uninstalled it, and re-installed via my origin account, and now works perfectly.

Then I bought the ultimate edition for all the add-ons anyway.

My fix  for the save problem was the ransomware protection  blocking files even when the game was allowed throgh the firewall . Windows 10 update was the problem ,so if you turn it off your save wont be greyed out. Be sure to turn it back on after you finish playing if your concerned about ransomware .

This is on the older side of time, I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Dragon Age please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
