December 2019
I have all 3 Dragon Age games through the origin client, no discs. I also have many Sims 3 games/expansions, what have you and a few S4 games/expansions.
I successfully moved DA2 and DAI to D from C but DAO is my problem child.
I have attempted to reach ea support/chat.... to no avail.
I click download, as it shows the down arrow on a horizontal line on the image, and it does nothing.
I click cancel, it just circles...... . . endlessly. I have to 'end task' a couple of times to get it to clear or stop. I am clearly not a programmer or tech savvy, I'm thinking I need to remove everything Dragon Age then reinstall them "clean" as they say. Choosing Repair gets me nowhere also.
TIA!

I found this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/EA-General-Questions/Installation-Problems/td-p/5821577
that had this link: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/#hard-way

@Psychotps No.
I'm thinking I have to remove it from the registry, but I'm not technically qualified nor that brave.
The client also doesn't recognize ownership of the DA games and DLC's I had already purchased. I'm not going to pay again.
I'm stuck with Sims 4 and Sims Medieval, S3 doesn't work well. So much for the modern age...

@legendshonorUnless you are VERY good at the registry, I would stay away from that. I would consider myself an expert and I really don't like messing around in there. You can severely mess up your computer if you do something wrong.
DAO is very old and has some issues. What you can try is move the game directory to another location and try installing it again.
Mine is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age"
Just move the "Dragon Age" directory to another folder and see if you can re-install it or do a game repair. It should re-download everything.
If the game shows up in your Origin client, it should be properly licensed.
