My biggest plan this week was to replay Dragon Age - Origins since its my spring break, but then, the game crashes on me without warning! It doesn't matter how long I've been playing. Once it crashed on me after a few hours, once it was a few minutes! I can't seem to get the game to work properly. I've run a "Check file integrity" thing on steam to see if it needed repair, I'm currently uninstalling and re-installing the game. If this doesn't work, I will be running it in compatibility mode. Please tell me what else I could do. All of the solutions online seem to be outdated (over 5 years old). PLEASE HELP!!

Did the reinstall work out ?

Most crashes nowadays are CPU related. Have you tried setting CPU affinity to one core? It will affect performance, but you eliminate crashes.
Here's a guide. Do the same with the Dragon Age process and set affinity to just CPU 0.
