i bought the Ultimate Edition a couple of years ago, but had to purchase a new hard drive because it failed. i can't find any place to download and reinstall the game, i was wondering if there was any way i could do this, without having to buy the whole ultimate edition set up again... Thanks

If you registered your game on this site, the EA Customer Service guys can authorize your account to download the game again.

Use the Help link (http://support.ea.com) and then find the "Live Chat" option.  In keeps changing, but it was called "Ask a Game Advisor" at one time.

Sorry I figured out why I couldn't edit the file and it had to do with windows not the file.  Now I've edited the requisite file to <true action="execute" file="${BINARIES_DIR}\DAOrigins.exe" path="${BINARIES_DIR}" arguments="-enabledeveloperconsole" autoquit="true" /> and have changed the keybindings as needed but I still can't use it.
