Dragon Age Origins not launching on PC

Hello!

Dragon Age Origins isn't launching on my computer. I keep getting an error message every time I try to play it (see screen shot below). I bought the game a few years ago and I did have an issue with my computer itself not working recently-ish, but my brother said he was able to resolve the issue, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the error I keep receiving. Is anyone familiar with this error and able to assist? Thank you!
