Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition: DLC not authorized

I recently bought dragon age ultimate edition on steam and it still wont recognize that i own any dlc i installed them through origin but in game i says i have no DLC downloaded or bought and whenever i try to redeem a code no box comes up for me to type the code into or anything. I've been trying to redeem/buy dlc for dragon age for ages

Extra thing to check that we found:  installed DA:O on a new PC (v1.05) and it downloaded the DLC files, saw them on the drive, but they didn't show up in the downloaded content in the game.

Realized that tip about the addins.xml was modifying the entries that should be there for the DLC.  Since they weren't there, game wasn't going to show them.

So check your addins.xml and see if it HAS entries for the DLC.  If not, get it from another installed instance (which we had from the old PC).  Copy that block of XML and DA:O showed the DLC like it should.

Thank you very much. Worked for me too. I changed all the RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0" in the DragonAge.ini file in the settings folder and that did the trick

Hi, so I have replaced all authorize to 0 and made sure i found all authorize but it still wont work, any suggestions?

This is an old thread that's been inactive for almost 6 years, meaning that all the info is probably also outdated because Origin was replaced by EA app.
