UPDATE:
Okay, here is the problem. After spending about an hour speaking with customer support, as well as a specialist, I've found out that it's a synchonization issue between the login servier and the game itself. Sure, a temporary password logs me in to the actual game, but it isn't the permanent solution. The specialist I had spoken to said that it can only be fixed with a patch update from Bioware.
Bottom line: The game and the server try desperately to hold hands, but alas, their love is currently forbidden.
I'm sure it'll be fixed in due time.

Original issue here:
After loading the game and submitting my proper user/pass, the ToS shows up. I'll click Agree, but after this it tells me that my password is incorrect. I've used the "forgot password" twice, and changed it on the website itself once. I know I'm doing everything correctly because I'm able to login the website and the Origin client with no issues. I've read somewhere else that the login with DA:O has problems recognizing the upper/lowercase with passwords.

It can do alrght. Try resetting your password over on the BSN and see if that helps.
Note that BSN has limited/read-only functionality at the moment, so perhaps this is a factor.

Until just now, I didn't have a BSN account. When I logged in there, it automatically created an account for me. I'd gotten the game through Origin. I'll try logging in again, since I left it alone after making this thread.
Edit: I did log in again to see if there were any changes. I still can't log in. After checking out my BSN account, I'd realized it's only for posting on the forums. I'm not sure how changing my password there would help. In the end, it's still one account, which means it's on the same server, correct? It looks more to me like when I'm in game, Dragon Age can't access the server properly, or it isn't reading the password itself properly. I did try to get a call from customer support, but I believe my anti-spam app blocked the call, and there's no way to return the call.

I am having the same issue -- I also changed my password; and I also removed the 2-Step Verification and still nothing.

I've worked in customer support myself, and I was pleased with their friendliness and professionalism.

Has there been a fix to this? I've attempted to log in every few months since I ran into this problem, but I still can't log in while in game. I'm worried I won't be able to import my DA: O playthrough into other games.

Well, now I'm no longer worried about logging in while in game with Dragon Age Origins. I didn't realize that being able to sync to the Keep had no affect on importing my character playthrough to future DA games. It's basically to show what achievements you've unlocked. If I really want to show people what I've unlocked, I can just take a screenshot and post it. :P
So, this isn't solve, but I'm no longer worried.
