Xbox 360: Dragon Age Inquisition

★ Apprentice

So I've been on and off the phone with an EA representative and he said I would be moved to another more better specialist and disconnected (or well, hung up technically) and I haven't had a call back.

My problem is, when inserting Disc 1 of Dragon Age: I into my 360, it is all fine, reads perfectly, encourages me to pick a storage option in which I pick my HDD (Which is a 250GB one) and then begins the installation. All is fine until maybe a minute or two later, it barely gets past like 8% and then prompts me with the same message "This game requires 7.1 GB of space" blah blah window and prmpts me to pick a storage space again. Since HDD is the only option, and it's a blank Xbox with no other games on it, there is over 230+ GB of storage available. I pick the drive again, it starts installing again, and then a minute or two later just like the last time the same message comes up. It never finishes installing, the message pops up a million times and no matter how many times I pick the storage, blah blah, let it try and install, and it just keeps doing it.

I've done all the troubleshooting, clearing the storage cache, turning the console on and off again updating the console and even deleting the old update and trying again, deleting all the Dragon Age Content (Which, there really isn't any) and installing it again. And nothing works.

It can't be me console, because many other people on Google and EA alike have the same problem, so it really isn't the disc itself since there is minimal (

My case number is: 36547645

★★★ Newbie

I can think of a few things that could be causing this... first off would be a bad drive (yes, it does happen, no, it isn't common) second would be that the xbox isn't brand new and is in fact refurbished (in other words you got ripped).  I know it takes a long time, but try a factory reset on it to clear any settings that might be keeping you from downloading the game.  Also, after that you might even want to see if there is a way to do a free space scrub on the xbox (I don't own one, but if this works you will want to do it in case someone had anything questionable on it before).  Let me know if this works.
