Will not launch Dragon Age: Inquisition [ Edited ]

Hi so I recently just built my computer, I have windows 10 and a 1060 GTX graphics card. My computer runs Elder Scrolls Online and all my other games just fine, but when I go to start DA: I it gives a black full screen then nothing it completely shuts down. Any ideas as to why that happens and please give explanation in layman terms for what could be wrong. I don't speak computer.

@RenaRoseheart ; Do you use AVG or Avast?  They are known to cause this problem.  So... If so, don't.

While you can attempt to set all the appropriate "Exclusions" that the a/v program will require, I recommend getting a "real* one that doesn't flag programs like DA:I as potential malware and prevent it from running.

Avast is way too strict. It deleted one of my Steam games not long ago.

@ThandalNLyman Do you have recommendations for antivirus software? (Doesn't matter if it's free or premium)

Thanks! I currently have the free version of MalwareBytes, but I'll look into upgrading if the extra features are appealing.
