[Steam] Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY Missing DLCs [ Edited ]

I accidentally purchased a second copy of DAI GOTY on steam and now all of my saves says it's missing dlcs. On top of that, I created a new save and none of the DLCs are showing even though steam shows that all DLCs are downloaded and installed. I tried reinstalling the game, the DLCs, removing both copies from my steam account and re-adding them. Nothing is working and I can't do anything within the EA Play app itself. Any help is greatly appreciated.

@wooz562 Are both copies of the game showing up in your Steam library?

This happens a lot with games because the GOTY edition and any other edition are technically different versions with different entitlements. That is why when you see a game you own it could say purchase and not owned. 

With save files, it is the same. What is happening is the save is being loaded into a version that doesn't own it vs the edition that does.

When you log into Steam and you download the GOTY edition, can you attach a screenshot of what the error is?

In the EA app, it should show you have it installed and under manage add ons it may show all that are installed. We need to see which DLC is giving that error.

The Game of the Year edition comes with:

• Base game
• Flames of the Inquisition Arsenal, Armor, and Armored Mount
• Dragon Age multiplayer Deluxe Edition chests
• Skyhold Throne, Red Hart Halla and Bog Unicorn
• Jaws of Hakkon DLC Pack
• The Descent DLC Pack
• Trespasser DLC Pack
• Spoils of the Avvar: 5 new mounts, 2 new sets of armor, and new options to personalize your base at Skyhold.
• Spoils of the Qunari: An armored war mount, new armor sets — including 1 in the style of the Arishok — and Skyhold items.

I am testing out the GOTY edition on Steam right now.

@wooz562 Fix for this was discovered by the community years ago. There is no official fix from EA and there probably never will be. Fix linked below. If link is deleted just search Nexus Mods for ProfileOptions.

It helps, but I was able to play the game normally not long ago, and now I can't. I can't access the Keep, so I can't use my Golden Nug to reaquire ALL my.... everything. Any idea how to do that?

Reading this and then reading the comments, I was searching for the same thing because I have the physical copy of the GOTY edition for Xbox One and it's only giving me the multiplayer, Dragonslayer, and Black Emporium DLCs when I know there's more. I decided to redownload the game because a friend is playing it for the first time, and I was feeling nostalgic for a particular save file from 2018, one that made it to the end of the Trespassers DLC. But, again... it only gave me these three DLCs I mentioned above, and not the other 4 that I know are a part of the package. I see that there is no fix for this on PC https://omegle.onl/ so far, which could only mean that there might not be one for Xbox One. 😔

I am also experiencing a similar/same problem. I have DA:I GOTY edition on 3 different platforms (Steam/PS/XBOX) and I actually haven't played the GOTY edition at all anywhere before (finished it on X360 when it first came out, base version)

So my problem is like this: I downloaded the DA:I GOTY edition from Steam, no problems. All the DLCs seemed to have been downloaded too. EA App recognizes that I accessed the version through Steam no problem, when I look at my add-ons I see that EA App also recognizes that I access them through Steam, so far so good. I was merrily playing my game but at around 60h point I've realized that I should've encountered at least one of the pre-ending DLCs. Then I realized I didn't have any of the items and stuff. At this point, I've realized that I do not have any of the DLCs (missed war table rewards and all) Tried to figure out why this happens and found out about this mod.

This mod/fix definitely works but it also deactivates all of the online features. I realize that online features don't mean much at this point but still. If you log in after fixing the game your save doesn't load up and when you try to load it it tells you "You need to install/own DLCs." It's kind of annoying and sad that this problem existed at least since 2021 and wasn't fixed.

I also tried to download the game from EA App instead of Steam but then EA App tells me I own the standard edition and none of the DLCs. For some reason, I cannot find the game on the store too (Turkey) The game + DLCs are all available in any other store you can think of.

My only concern is about carrying over saves/choices to the new game. I know that we'll be able to carry over our choices somehow, and we likely won't use the Keep (I follow the updates) While this fix definitely works, not being able to synch the game with the Keep is kind of annoying & sad. Just wanted to let the team know about the situation -which you probably are aware.

@EA_Shepard JUST FYI In addition to the mod, following these steps also worked for me without deactivating online features! Found it amongst the comments of the Nexus mods fix. If anyone has a similar problem on Steam version they can check it out! (added SS in case comment/page gets deleted)
