I played over 20 hours with maybe 2-3 CTD's. After around the 30 hour mark, the game began regularly freezing (screen goes black and sound loops). It's happening now every 5-10 minutes of playing. Doesn't matter what I am doing, standing still or in the heat of battle. This has made the game unplayable for me.
I have an evga 970 and I was worried that maybe I didn't have enough power for it, but considering I played 20+ hours with almost no problem and I can play games like Far Cry 4 on max settings with no crashing, I think it must be the game and not my hardware.
When I reboot, the windows error report shows the following:
