" im losing hope in pc gaming now aday."

THIS!

Have the same feeling. PC is NOT master race. i've spent quite the same time on gameplays and testing/searching bugs solutions  !!!!

NVIDIA and developers should sit down and review their work process somehow. Maybe buying a console its a better deal and less headache.

Since i bought DA:I never been a able to play more than 2 hours or less without a directx error, not to mention reboots and no reason CTD´s.

Playing and supporting on pc more then TEN years and i´m finally thinking on buying a console and stop being a foolish peasant.

Udate from OP.......

I just received an e-mail from EA. It is unchanged, and unedited, other than the names, to protect the privacy of the Technician, and my self.

My name is ------, I am a Specialist here at Electronic Arts customer support. I am very sorry to hear about your issue and I have been investigating your case to the best of my ability to determine what our next step toward correcting your issue should be.

Being a massive gamer for many years, I was sorry to hear of the issue you have been experiencing and know how frustrating something like this can be. I can understand the inconvenience and disruption this may cause in your game.

As there is no further troubleshooting I can provide for you at a customer service level, I will be moving to the next level of investigation in relation to this matter. Rest assured that simply because we cannot correct this at a customer service level we are in no way going to simply shrug our shoulders and leave you with an unsatisfactory game experience!

Instead I have raised your case to the attention of the Game Studio team with whom our Expert Response Team works to attempt to duplicate issues like yours. Once the issue has been replicated in a testing environment we will be able to determine the cause of it and attempt to correct the issue in either an action on your account, or failing that a future update to the game.

As your case will now be with this team, we would request that in future if you are looking for an update on its progress you please open a new case to inquire, as updating the existing case from your end will move the case back into our email response queue and delay your ongoing investigation. Please feel absolutely free to contact us about this should you feel a need to, all we ask is that to prevent delays, you should simply open a new case to do so!

Once we have any update in relation to this we will contact you again, until then I can only apologies once more for the issue you are experiencing and ask for your continued patience and understanding as we work to correct this matter.

If I remember correctly, this was in reference to an issue that I was having,

trying to fast travel to crestwood, from anywhere on the map.

Regardless of where I was, I would get the HUD/GUI

with only a black screen behind it, for a few seconds,

then I would be back at whereever I was trying to fast travel from.

Skyhold, Hinterlands, Hissing Wastes, etc.

Sounds good, I've contacted them too, the more of us pushing ahead the better our chances are. I'll post my results after.

Just wanting to add some facts to the issue. So I was bored and decided to run some testing. It appears that when the game was running, my gpu usage was at around 0%..... and pagefile shot up to 4gb at menu screen... which is funny because I DISABLED all pagefiles.

What sorcery is this, Bioware? Teach me!!!

I think I might have got rid of crashes (touch wood!)

what did the trick for me was to underclock my GTX 970 by 105 mh

naturally I had to turn off AA as a result of this

sigh......I bought this card mainly to play DAI.......

well it crashed after 5 hours - well fair enough

Sadly didn't work for me, game crashed with no signal on my monitor coming up again. Ah well I've spoke to customer support and they didn't provide anything useful. I suppose I'll have to play their little game of trying all the silly things first before they escalate my case.

I emailed Eurogamer about this thread.

If we all jump on getting this looked at by the gaming press hopefully they will pick up on it and this will force EA to make an official statement and give us an eta on a working patch. Good to see others doing this with Gamerant. After all, the professional reviews lavished praise on the game and yet a lot of us can't play it at all because of the broken state it is in. Seems to me the professionals should be made aware of how bad this is.

Battle enemies on PC with mouse.

When my mouse arrow is to far away, suddenly I'm on desktop or so.

Or the screen is 50%

OK just a little info here just had a CTD so I thought I would check the event viewer to see what is actually causing these crashs. When I brought up the event viewer tehre was nothing in there to the crash that I just had. Now that is wierd cause winows always makes a note of all software problems. Not sure if it helps but I thought I would post it any way.

I checked event viewer as well and couldn't find anything either. Glad somebody else has contacted a gaming press, do let us know what their reply is. Hopefully Gamerant and Eurogamer get something done soon. I was hoping Totalbiscuit would have noticed this too but nothing was mentioned on his first impressions video and not sure if how far into the game he's gotten as the problems started to appear for me somewhere between the 40-50 hour mark. I can handle the occasional CTD but not crashing my entire system.
